Extremity Adjusting/Manipulation
This is the application of chiropractic manipulation/adjustment to joints other than those of the spine, i.e., shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand/finger, hip, knee, ankle/foot/toe. Similar to the spine, the joints of the extremities can become fixated, or subluxated, causing pain and other problems to occur. Possible symptoms of extremity fixation include: pain in the extremity or joints, fatigue or weakness in the extremity, "catching" of the joint and stiffness or immobility of the joint. Examples of conditions treated by extremity manipulation/adjustment include: carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, sports injuries, gait and posture-related problems, and many more.
